A perfect blend of Australian black tea and aromatic chai spices, our special blend of Sticky Chai tea is smothered in 100% raw Australian Honey to seal in its rich flavours.
Brewing chai brings a sense of comfort, relaxation and well-being. When it comes to picking a soothing hot cuppa, every day is an opportunity for our Sticky Chai tea - which makes an amazing after-dinner drink too.
The spices give this tea a well-rounded sweetness with a mild, spicy finish. With a fragrant aroma, it has a delicate flavour that is often described as "addictive."
There is no need to add additional sugar as raw honey is a natural sweetener that also has the added benefit of naturally occurring amino acids, vitamins, minerals, iron, zinc and antioxidants.
Collombatti's Sticky Honey Chai can be brewed as a black tea, or in the traditional manner, on the stovetop. The longer it brews, the richer and deeper the flavour will be. It can be brewed with cow, soy, nut milk and coconut milk too.Â

How to brew
Chai is traditionally brewed on milk and sweetened with honey.Â
Traditional Chai brewing method
- In a small milk pan or saucepan, add 1 cup of your favourite milk.
- Stir in one heaped teaspoon of chai and bring to a low simmer on the stovetop. Â
- Brew for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.Â
- Strain and serve. Â
Serves 1. Â
For a quick cuppa
- Add one heaped teaspoon of chai per serve to your teapot or strainer.Â
- Pour over freshly boiled water or hot milk and allow to steep for 5 minutes.Â
- Strain and serve, adding a good dash of milk if brewed in water.

Australian grown loose-leaf black tea, Raw Australian Honey, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves, Star Anise, Fennel & Coriander Seeds, Black Peppercorns & Ginger.
Origin
The base of our Sweet 'n' Sticky Honey chai is a single blend of black tea, grown without the use of pesticides on a plantation in tropical far north Queensland. Here it has been harvested and packed by the same family since 1978.Â
Blended and packed in Collombatti from local and imported ingredients.
